SUVA, Fiji (FIJI SUN) ---- The Fiji Police Force have confirmed that the alleged theft of money from a cargo container did not occur in Fiji
After preliminary investigations it was confirmed the theft was committed offshore.
Fiji Police are working closely with overseas authorities and liaisons in the investigation. Further details cannot be revealed because of the investigation.
It is alleged that about $1 million was removed from the consignment headed for the Reserve Bank of Fiji.
