SUVA, Fiji ----- ’s Military has sacked 10 of their instructors who were caught having extra-marital affairs with female cadet officers.

The instructors were part of the Military’s Force Training Group in Nasinu outside Suva.

Military chief-of-staff Brigadier General Mohammed Aziz said the officers were removed because the army wanted to lead by example, and moral discipline among the ranks had to be maintained.

He said they would ensure that army personnel did not take advantage of female officer cadets.

“We will make sure that we maintain discipline in the force,” Brigadier General Aziz said.

The female cadet officers involved in the fiasco were also terminated.

They were part of a recent recruit of 70 officer cadets to undergo training at Nasinu.
